Tell me why these oil and merchant vessels don't just hire some ex-military to guard the ships while they are on the high seas? Isn't there no laws in International waters which would allow the men protecting these ships to just fire an RPG right at the dinky little boat bringing the pirates to the ship? If you see a damn boat full of masked men coming at your ship in the middle of the ocean just sink the dam thing and kill all of the pirates on board. Done!

All of the pictures that the Hubble telescope sends back to Earth are pretty amazing. They are rich in color and detail and show us visions of other galaxies far beyond our solar system. But what else has is taken pictures of??? Does the Hubble team have proof of extraterrestrial life beyond our solar system? Do they have proof of life even within our own solar system? With millions and millions of stars and other galaxies in the universe how can we be the only advanced civilization? What else is out there just beyond our reach of technology?
Will we ever see these secret photographs? Is the Hubble team sworn to secrecy about what images they really see? I want to see what other images were sent back by this satellite. There has to be another reason, beyond the curiosity of scientists to explore the universe, that keeps the government funding this project and others like it.
It is my belief that these amazing images are just a facade for the people of our society to say "wow, thats amazing. look at the beautiful pictures that telescope can take of other galaxies... [makes jerking motion with hand]" In reality, the telescope is busy watching over other planets and locating other civilizations who may pose a threat to our livelyhood on this planet. I am all for the protection of our world, but let me in on it... I want to help out.
Which brings me to another topic. Are we ready to learn that we are not alone in the universe? Would society come together after hearing such news or would it tear us apart? The government has surely pondered this thought and others like it and decided that it is for the good of humanity to not let us know about these things at the time. I partially agree. Lets wait till the perfect time to let everyone in on the secret. When society is vulnerable and needs an out after getting into a sticky situation.
Is space really the final frontier or is it just the beginning? Where do we go from here? Does Hubble know? I think so...

Meanwhile, al-Zarqawi's wife told an Italian newspaper that al Qaeda leaders sold him out to the United States in exchange for a promise to let up in the search for Osama bin Laden.
The woman, identified by La Repubblica as al-Zarqawi's first wife, said al Qaeda's top leadership reached a deal with U.S. intelligence because al Zarqawi had become too powerful.
According to this woman, the U.S. knows the whereabouts of top al Qaeda leaders and work out deals with them so that they can make progress in the war in terror. My opinion, if you are a terrorist and we know where you are, then you need to be killed immediately. Send in some special forces troops and wipe them all out overnight. Who will know the difference? A few swift maneuvers and they are all dead. Case closed...

OK, I definitely believe that there is life on other planets. We can't possibly be the only ones in this univers that have any kind of intelligence. Think about this one though... What if there is other life on our own planet and we don't even know about it... 70.8% of the world is covered in water. That leaves us humans a measly 29.2% of living space. Who's to say that there are not extra-terrestrial beings living amongst us right here on our own planet?? These beings from other galaxies could quite possibly be visiting our planet in their ships and landing out at sea somewhere far away from any shipping lanes or airline routes and they will never be detected.
Where do we all really come from? Is the theory of evolution even a valid one? Is Earth just an organic dumping ground from outer space that evolved into what we are today?
