How long has Sascha Baron Cohen been playing his Borat character? Ever since the first season of Ali G which was years ago. So why is it that now people are complaining that they are being tricked or bribed into appearing in the skits? Have you ever heard the term "read the fine print"??? Do you just go around signing any paper in front of you without reading it? Of course not. If you do then you should be taken advantage of for being so stupid. No. All these people want is a piece of the $29 million the movie has brought in so far. Do movie extras get to sue the studio after the movie comes out and it grosses hudreds of millions because they feel that the $50 or whatever they got for being an extra wasn't enough? No. Do you think that anyone is going to give two shits that you were in the Borat movie after they see it? I doubt it.

All we see these days are either sequels or remakes to older movies. Where have all the original screenplays gone? Does anyone have an idea for a movie that we haven't seen yet? OK, seeing Jessica Biel in those jeans during Texas Chainsaw Massacre was great and so was seeing Anne Heche in the shower scene for Psycho, but how many times is Hollywood going to create a remake? They do say that History repeats itself. Maybe they should really be saying that Hollywood repeats itself instead.
With that said, the article linked to below is a listing of news related to currently scheduled or thought of sequels and remakes. Some sound pretty good and I will definitely be looking our for them while others are just plain stupid. Come on... A remake of Revenge of the Nerds? The original wasn't even that good. War Games 2 doesn't seem to bad though. I would go see that, but that might just be the geek in me talking.

This Halloween season seems to be packed with new thrillers coming out. This movie, which stars Tara Reid, actually looks pretty good. What makes this one uniqe though, is that I don't think it will hit theaters or DVD. Don't quote me on this, but I think that it's a download-only movie. Does this mean that I can download it and burn it to a DVD myself? Is this the new release method that Hollywood will start using instead of DVD or BluRay discs?

I am definitely going to go see this movie. The first two were pretty good. Hopefully this one will be equally as entertaining. You never know though, occasionally Hollywood tries to milk a movie so much that they end up getting real crappy for the sake of making a dollar. I will write more after I see the film.

I didnt know at first that this was a Nicolas Cage film and then you throw Eva Mendez into the mix?? I am a fan of Nicolas Cage movies and think that Eva Mendez is just plain hot so this movie is definitely on my list to see when it comes out.
